this doc is more like a friend than a doc. we get along like friends. when I go in for a office visit, he says screw this and we go sit in his personal office and go over my visit. He's even invited the wife and I to a party once with his staff that he had at a resturant. the dude is totally cool. if he wants to say "thats fucked up", thats exactly how he'd say it.
He's the pain specialist, not the ortho that put the hardware in my back (lumbar fusion through stomach and back), but he's been the only one will to bust his ass trying to help me with anything I need.
very rare to have a doc that is like a friend and that you completely trust really wants to help. Might make a difference that he started out as a paramedic and worked his way up.
